Hampton Inn & Suites Salinas

I had a great stay at this hotel! It's super clean and feels really safe, which was important to us. We arrived for a late check-in around midnight, and Crystal at the front desk was amazing! She was so friendly and full of energy, making us feel really welcome. Crystal made sure we got checked in smoothly and made sure everything was taken care of for us! The breakfast was buffet-style and delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. One thing I really appreciated were the blackout curtains in the room – they made it easy to sleep in without any morning sunlight creeping in. The room was also mich larger than expected! Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I would definitely stay here again on my road trips!

The location is great, the staff are kind, and the rooms are clean. Fitness center is nice and so is the pool. My main complaint is the breakfast, the selection is not very good and everything tastes old. Smells like weed at night unfortunately, but not in the rooms, mainly the elevators.

We needed to cancel our second night and we're told there was a $75.00 cancellarion fee. I've never heard that from any other Hampton Inn (the fee was eventually waived).

Perfect spot for Laguna Seca events. I guess it depends according to other reviews but the staff I checked in with was nice. Room was very clean and put together.

So I think I had just gotten an unfortunate draw of rooms for this particular stay. It was on the first floor closest room to the exit, which meant we heard everyone come in an out of the door because it kept slamming closed. Another thing that was unfortunate was the internet to the tv was not working and even the maintenance guy could not fix it, and then in the morning there was construction right outside my window. I knew the stay wasn’t ideal, but before I wrote a negative review I wanted to give an opportunity to the manager (Ayden) to make it right, and he did. I talked with him and explained everything that went wrong even gave some suggestions on how to improve it. He listened and apologized and even came up with a resolution that I agreed with to make it right. At the end of the day a hotel stay won’t always be perfect, but how this manager resolved the issue is how it should be done. Thank you.

I spent a few weeks at this location while my home was getting work done. Rooms were clean and all the staff were very accommodating. Special thanks to Paulina and Rosa! They made my stay much more pleasant and all of their food was delicious! -Ryan

This hotel was such a pleasant place to stay! We have been staying at a few Hamptons and some Hiltons on a California coast trip. This hotel was new or remodeled; it was very clean. The breakfast was wonderful with fresh fruit, cereal, and a self-serve waffle bar. The coffee/ team counter was clean with hot coffee and water. The staff went out of their way with polite customer service. They even had to go bags for guests that needed to leave quickly in the morning. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Salinas.

I am writing this review for my husband. He stayed here for work. The rooms were nice but the ice machine didn't work. After he left, his laptop was found in the room. Ramaud was phenomenal in getting this back to my husband. I can''t say enough as to how helpful and courteous he was in doing this. He is AMAZING!!!
